Originally a knitting mill, the Industrial Revolution loft building is located in the popular King West Village. It is a hard loft conversion completed in 1996. Loft sizes range here from about 750 to over 3000 sq. ft, and features include 13 to 16 feet ceiling heights, exposed brick, exposed heating ducts, floor-to-ceilings windows and fireplaces.
Two lofts were sold in 2006, a 2050 sq. ft. ground floor unit for $560,000 and a smaller, 1750 sq. ft., second floor loft with steel webbed rafters, skylight and a large terrace, for $645,000. It is worth mentioning that the maintenance fees are very low in this building, although they don't cover heat or hydro.
