This is a new hard loft project, converting an old locomotive factory from the early 1900s into 104 vintage one, two and three-storey lofts. These lofts will have approximately 19-feet ceilings in the living areas on the first floor level, and between 10 and 17-feet ceilings in the living areas on the second floor, with remaining ceilings at 9-ft height. Lofts features will include exposed brick, warehouse style large windows, exposed metal duct work, open concept kitchens. Loft sizes will vary between approximately 600 sq. ft. and 1905 sq. ft. The unique feature of this development will be a 16,000 sq. ft. interior atrium, with trees, park benches and walkways, and with recreation / gallery space.
The lofts are priced from about $200,000 to about $500,000.
